Dear all international students,
为进一步强化新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎疫情防控工作，坚决防止疫情蔓延扩散，福建省已启动重大突发公共卫生事件I级响应。学校密切关注着每一位同学的平安，为保障广老员工身体健康，特发出以下倡议：
To further strengthen the prevention and control of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus and resolutely prevent the spread of the disease, Fujian Province has initiated a first-level response mechanism for public health preventive measurement. Our university is always concerned about your safety! In order to ensure your health, the following measures are to be taken as follows:
1）减少非必要外出，避免前往人员密集场所、空气不流通场所。如遇特殊情况必须外出，请正确戴口罩。
Reduce unnecessary outings. Do not go to crowded places with poor ventilation. For international students who have to go outside for specific reasons, please wear masks properly.
2）避免在宿舍内聚会，以免交叉感染。避免与有发热及咳嗽、咯痰等呼吸道症状的人密切接触。避免近距离接触和食用野生动物。注意个人卫生，勤洗手，室内多通风，多喝水。在打喷嚏或咳嗽时，需要用纸巾或者胳膊进行遮挡，不要用手直接遮挡。尽量吃熟食，加强锻炼，合理作息。
Do not get together in a dormitory to avoid cross infection. Avoid close contact with people who have respiratory symptoms such as fever, cough and expectoration. Do not touch or eat wild animals. Pay attention to personal hygiene, wash hands frequently, keep ventilated, and drink plenty of water. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve when you cough or sneeze, but avoid covering with your hands directly. Eat thoroughly cooked food, exercise more, work and rest regularly.
3）如有发热和其他呼吸道感染症状，特别是发热不退，不要拖延，请戴上口罩及时到当地医疗机构就诊。
If you have fever and other symptoms of respiratory infection, especially persisting fever, wear a mask and go to the local hospital as soon as possible without any hesitation.
4）在疫情期间，为确保全体员工的安全，学校将加强门禁管理，温度测量，身份检查，消毒预防等工作。请大家理解配合，遵守学校安排，加强自我保护。
During the epidemic, in order to ensure the safety of all the students, the university will strengthen access control management, temperature measurement, identity check, disinfection and other prevention methods. Please cooperate and obey the arrangements and strengthen self-protection.
5）关注权威部门发布的疫情实时动态和防治措施，保持镇定，不要惊慌，不要捏造谣言、散布谣言或相信谣言。
Pay attention to the epidemic information and prevention and control measures issued by authoritative departments in real-time; remain calm, do not panic, do not make rumors, spread rumors, or believe rumors.
6）为降低传染风险，请不要提前返校。学校将根据疫情发展和政府防控部署要求，在学校官方网站和新媒体平台及时发布相关信息和通知，请大家关注并相互转告，同时请与辅导员保持联络畅通。
